I have 5 sisters and 3 brothers. My father passed away in 1976. My mother lives in San Francisco, California. I have three children: Mengistu, Venus and Ashley. My oldest son, Mengistu, lives in Sacramento, California. Venus, my second oldest child, lives in Providence, Rhode Island with her husband, Josh, and her son, Malachi. Ashley, the last, lives with me in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
My oldest sister, Veronica, lives in Sacramento, California with her husband. They have three girls. The oldest, Deaweh, is married. She is an Elementary School Teacher and lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband. My other sister, Jacinta, has a daughter named Besieh and they live in Newark, New Jersey. Another sister, Victoria, lives in Silver Spring, Maryland. Selina, my other sister, lives in St. Paul, Minnesota with her husband and they have four children. My younger sister, Patience, is still back home in Liberia.
